Shaarei Tefillah has a regular weekly kiddush following davening on Shabbat mornings. To reserve the shul for a simchah, please contact our Synagogue Administrator, Dinah Moeller in the shul office at (617) 527-7637 or office@shaarei.org. Please contact Dinah Moeller well in advance of the date you desire; kiddush dates tend to fill up quickly.

The cost for sponsoring a kiddush is $108 and can be divided by co-sponsors. The Kiddush Room and the Bayit are available to our members for family dinners and other celebratory events. The fee for renting the Kiddush Room or the Bayit is $200 for one event and $300 for two events (or two spaces) over the course of one simchah.

Sponsor a Seudah Shelishit

Opportunities are available for sponsoring a seudah shelishit in honor of a yahrzeit, birthday, graduation, etc. The donation is $36. Please Dinah Moeller to make arrangements.

Kiddush Toranut

Unless a Kiddush is a catered affair with attendant accommodators, we rely on volunteers to set up and clean up Kiddush. We arrange for a yearly rotation among our participating members. Usually, someone does not have toranut more than twice a year. The coming month’s assignments for those who have volunteered to help with kiddush setup and cleanup appear in our monthly newsletter. Anyone wishing to sign on to help with kiddush should contact Jeff Weener or Richard Grossman at Toranut@Shaarei.org.
